The problems wholesale and distribution businessesEveryday challenges

These problems are not a sign that your business is badly run. They happen because stock and the system are not connected in real time.

Stock in the system does not match what is on the shelf

Stock is counted by hand and the system is never updated in time, so balances drift away from what is actually in the warehouse.

Taking orders beyond the stock you actually have

Sales close deals without knowing stock has run out, so customers wait longer or have to cancel their orders.

You do not know the true cost per unit

Purchase prices differ from lot to lot, and average cost is worked out by hand, which makes it easy to set the wrong selling price.

Closing the books is slow because stock has to be reconciled by hand

Knowing your real profit and loss means reconciling stock against the books by hand at every month end, which takes days.

One system for your whole business

Nested connects every step of buying, selling and stockin one place

Purchasing, goods receipt, sales and accounting all run on one database — no re-keying and no more reconciling stock by hand.

  • Order, then receive goods automatically — no re-keying
  • Issue a sales order and stock is reserved immediately; stock is deducted when the delivery note is issued, so the same item is never sold twice.
  • Automatic cost calculation on every transaction
  • Buy and sell in foreign currency, with exchange rates pulled from the BOT automatically
  • Buy by the case, sell by the piece. Set multiple units of measure on a single item — for example 1 case = 12 pieces — and the system converts units and calculates prices for you on both the buying and the selling side.
  • Freight and import duty that arrive later are recorded with a cost adjustment (GC); the system allocates them across each item code and posts the accounting entries automatically.
  • Break SKUs out by color, size and model, track balances per variant, and print purchase orders using the item codes your vendor actually uses, so you order the right model.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions fromTrading and distribution

How accurate is automatic stock deduction?
When a sales order (SO) is issued, the system immediately reserves the goods from the warehouse you select, so the available-to-sell quantity drops and the item cannot be sold twice. Stock is actually deducted when the invoice/delivery note (IV) is issued, linked automatically to the purchase order and goods receipt.
Does it support multiple warehouses or branches?
Yes. You can view balances by warehouse or by branch, and issue a goods transfer (GT) that adjusts both the source and destination warehouses on a single document, with the transferred cost calculated automatically.
What costing method is used for inventory?
The system calculates cost using FIFO or Moving Average in line with your accounting policy, automatically on every goods receipt, so the cost of sales and profit shown are accurate.
Is migrating existing product and stock data difficult?
It is straightforward. Our team helps import your products, customers, vendors and opening balances during system setup, and verifies the data before go-live.
Does it support import/export businesses?
Yes. You can record purchases and sales in foreign currency, with exchange rates pulled automatically via API directly from the Bank of Thailand (BOT), so your cost and profit figures always reference the official, up-to-date rate.
